Green IT has one primary task, such as productive help to redistribute the irreplaceable energy that Green Information Technology and computing regulate. Currently, different IT fields have a ratio of 0.36%. This indicator indicates that one unit of computation and data transmission uses energy that gives 0.36 percent. To solve this problem, there are several global initiatives. However, scientists from Japan have been able to reach such a target of 1000 so far. However, there are a few new technologies too.

The third direction is data storage. All those files that travel from one device to another pass the storage phase on disks. If you disconnect these disks from the network, you will lose connection. Today, the cost of data storage has become more significant. To solve this problem, scientists should create green memory elements.

What it will look like in the future

The semiconductor format will remain as the binary arithmetic is currently unparalleled. This means that the computer system will require standard parts to work with. Replacement of the entire system will only be possible with the further development of nanotechnology when the effects of the transition are transferred to the molecular level, which will allow a change in the data transfer and storage format. At the same time, you should remember that the use of hazardous materials is unacceptable. So, gallium arsenide is the most energy-efficient material, which is also extremely poisonous.

The notion of sustainable human development goes back to Vernadsky and his predecessors, who created the general theory of systems. All these factors have become obsolete from the point of view of today’s green IT. Today, this development has become part of the life of modern man, and without it, our community would lose a lot of benefits. Yet the evolution of technology is still slower than the demands of activists struggling to keep the planet clean. Sooner or later, the eco-sustainability of information technology will be increased, but we will need some significant financial investments in the IT industry.
